• Establishment of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Technical Colleges (SCTC):

The TORs for the SCTC have been formulated and approved by the ETCP Steering Committee in its meeting on July 21, 2003. Ministerial Decree # 289, dated November 16, 2003 concerning the establishment and the mandate of the SCTC was issued by the Minister of Higher Education.

The Supreme Council of the Egyptian Technical Colleges (SCTC) held its first meeting on May 18, 2005. The second meeting for the council was held on July 3, 2005.
